Talented five-piece b0ka are back on Beatservice Records, riding high via the infectious crossover grooves of their latest single, 'Let Go'.

The b0ka boys have wasted no time regaining their position as one of Norway's most imaginative genre-blurring outfits since resuming release action in 2022. Following an extended hiatus, the quintet returned to the studio during the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic, and the new material they crafted during those sessions is every bit as dazzling as the formative work that helped them win over countless admirers among the meta-dance community. Having taken diverging paths to record variously as Lakeshouse, OJKOS, Bjørnar Sira and Den Kosmiske Overorden, b0ka quickly regained the warm glow of the spotlight with a pair of typically deft Beatservice singles, 'Stone Cold Girl' and 'Want Me Too'. Now back with the third single taken from their forthcoming album, the players again demonstrate a formidable compositional prowess alongside a devastating melodic magnetism.

'Let Go' arrives as some of b0ka's most accessible work to date, presenting a glorious fusion of alluring vocals, honeyed instrumentation, and propulsive rhythm. The shimmering lead vocal glides over a neatly-woven bed of life-affirming synths, driving bass and contagious guitar riffs, the immaculate orchestration neatly constructed with the band's typically refined production gloss.

As with the previous two singles, 'Let Go' fuels excitement for the eagerly awaited long-player set to follow later this year, its captivating melodies destined to power far beyond the underground into discerning pop realms.

They recently found an old hard drive with old bits and pieces of music and made this into a mixtape dubbed Sagrada Jukebox. Three of the members of b0ka also make up the house music trio Lakeshouse.
